Approach

My approach to end-of-life, death, and afterlife care for companion animals is one that is inclusive and encouraging. I am open to working with people of all spiritual and religious backgrounds, as well as the casually agnostic, and those with no belief at all. I also encourage you to explore what the death of your animal triggers within you, and will support you should you wish to use the death experience as a doorway to interrogate your own end-of-life and afterlife beliefs.

Every relationship between a companion animal and their caregiver is unique. As such, how the animal is cared for, mourned and remembered will also be unique.

With that in mind, I encourage all of my (human) clients to explore the significance of the relationship which they have shared with their companion animal, to consider what sharing a life with that animal has meant, and what their ideas are about the afterlife of that animal.

I understand that one approach is not going to suit everyone. With that in mind, I will work with you to investigate the options which mean something important to you. If you don’t know where you’d like to begin that is completely fine too - I ask only that you keep an open mind and be willing to explore whatever your emotions bring up for you.

Whatever you need, let’s talk about it and see how I can help support you on your journey.
